SPORTready Youth Sports Training
Norton Sports Health Performance & Wellness Center coaches lead SPORTready youth sports training classes to help young athletes increase confidence, speed, strength and agility. The sports performance staff helps kids prepare for success on and off the field.
The center, at 9451 Westport Road in in Louisville, Kentucky, combines the expertise of sports medicine physicians, professional coaches and a nutrition consultant to help enhance your athletic skills and abilities.
Work with us year-round in classes organized by grade level to learn how you can improve speed and performance while learning consistent training principles, form and technique.
SPORTready classes are available to student-athletes, grades three through 12. Athletes are grouped by grade level, with an average of eight students per performance coach. Classes are structured to focus on skills needed at each age group’s level of competition.
In the classes, strength training and conditioning provide injury-prevention and performance improvement tools. You’ll learn how you can improve change-of-direction mechanics, linear speed, acceleration and maximum velocity.
The classes help equip athletes who play any youth sport, including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball and lacrosse. SPORTready youth sports performance classes are one-hour training sessions.
